Job Title : Staff Nurse

Location : Hyderabad

Reports To : Nursing Supervisor (Home Care)

Experience : 1-5 Years

Job Overview : Ability to provide nursing care, assess the complications and ascertain prompt help by physicians and other healthcare professionals. Being able to do first aid during emergency and escalate for medical assistance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care to clients with varied chronic debilitating disease conditions.
• Identify client care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients.
• Provide care in a unique setting such as client's residence, establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to clients, friends, and families.
• Promote client's independence by establishing client care goals; teaching client, friends and family to understand condition, medications and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Work independently and possess appropriate Nursing skills in addition to the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals.
• Render quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against client care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following homecare and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.
• Coordination of care by applying critical thinking, assessment, communication, documentation in emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, burns as well as recovering clients.
• Respond to client issues with extreme sensitivity to cultural, religious, disability and family considerations of the host family.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Maintains continuity care among nurses by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Maintains client confidence and protects by keeping information confidential.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

B.Sc Nursing / GNMs with 1-5 years experience

• Education level :Registered B.Sc Nursing / GNMs

• Experience :Preferably worked in Home Healthcare with a minimum of 1 year

• Specific skills :

1. Should be able to converse in English, Hindi and local language
2. Communication skills
3. Compassion and Empathy towards patient

• Certifications :Relevant certificate as per the qualification

• Licenses :Registration certificate from Nursing Council
