Responsibilities and Duties

• Helping start and end the day (getting out of and into bed, dressing).
• Monitoring and tracking the clients vital signs, perform basic procedures like assist in bathing, hair care, assist in feeding, toileting (change diapers), mobility and support and care of pressure sores.
• Maintaining clients comfort level.
• Remind about medication, dates, daily routines etc. for the clients.
• Keeping track of a clients progress and documentation such as pressure ulcer risk assessment.
• Seeking assistance from the hospital/facility nurse when client is in need, monitoring client activity (i.e. ensuring client stays in bed, IVs remain in place, etc.).
• Supervising client through the night, maintaining the home safety environment, ensuring family members that their loved one is safe when they are unable to be there, entertaining (games, crafts, reading, etc.)
• Assuring the client will not be left unattended and will be accompanied by aide at all times.
• Assuring a safe bathing environment and assisting with personal care activities (bathing, grooming, etc.) for hygiene, Assisting with mobility.
• Organizing and reading mail, escorting to appointments and social events, assisting with pet care and safety.
• Participate in Recreational Activities

Qualifications

10+ 2 / with relevant course / Experienced in Home Health Aide

• Education level :Certified Home Health Aide, Auxiliary Nurse, Midwifery or Multipurpose Health Worker

• Experience :Preferably worked in Home Healthcare related jobs

• Specific skills :Empathetic Basic Communication skills

• Certifications :Relevant certificate as per the qualification

• Licenses :NA
