Transforming medical practice through education.

High-quality programmes that use simulation and learning systems to build skills for safer patient care and better clinical outcomes.

About us

Care Institute of Health Sciences (CIHS) strives to integrate education, research and patient care, under the broad areas of health education and community care. The high quality programs leverage technology like simulation and Learning Management Systems in order to impart knowledge and hands-on practice on skills essential for enhanced patient care and safety, as also for improved clinical outcomes.

CIHS partners with apex bodies like National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI), as well as world leaders in simulation and medical education, such as Laerdal (Norway), Alfred Health (Australia), Global Health Alliance (UK) and others.

The comprehensive range of training programs incorporates career pathways, life skills and soft skills like teamwork and communication. Another wing of CIHS focuses on community care by providing home-based healthcare and conducting preventive and management programs for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

Dr B Soma Raju, Chairman

The knowledge and skills of healthcare providers is of paramount importance. Besides domain skills and bio-sciences, the academic curriculum around healthcare systems science should be holistic and, consequently, include subjects like leadership, health economics, informatics and IT, as well as promote team-based inter/multi disciplinary care.
